Congratulations to the SFAMSC Cheetahs Grade School Girls’ Volleyball Team for their hard-fought victory against the skilled Cuatro Christian School squad!

The match began with Cuatro Christian School taking an early lead, thanks to their powerful serves that secured them the first set. However, Coach Norvi's strategic adjustments and the impressive play of the Cheetahs soon shifted the momentum. Team Captain Kyle Denisse's strong overhead serves were a game-changer, scoring multiple points and pushing the Cheetahs ahead. This burst of energy allowed them to take control, winning a close second set and sealing the match with a thrilling third-set victory. It was a fantastic display of skill and determination by the Cheetahs!

CAMPRISA Junior High Girl's Volleyball 2024: SFAMSC vs Ruiz

he SFAMSC Cheetahs Junior High Volleyball Team faced off against Lorenzo Ruiz in a high-stakes match that showcased both teams’ competitive spirit. Lorenzo Ruiz emerged strong in the opening sets, quickly establishing a lead with powerful serves and precise attacks. However, the Cheetahs refused to back down, steadily improving their game as the match progressed. By the later sets, the SFAMSC Cheetahs had found their rhythm, closing the gap and delivering a fierce challenge to their opponents.

With relentless energy and sharp teamwork, the Cheetahs made Lorenzo Ruiz fight for every point, pushing the match to the brink. The final sets were packed with thrilling rallies and tense moments as the Cheetahs clawed back into contention. Although the Cheetahs ultimately fell short, losing by just a few points, their resilience and determination in the later stages impressed everyone. They fought bravely until the end, and their comeback effort will fuel their future successes. Great job Cheetahs!

SFAMSC Grade 8 Student Wins First Place in National Essay Writing Contest

Maryella Grace Z. Pusing, a Grade 9 student from St. Francis of Assisi Montessori School of Cainta (SFAMSC), has achieved a remarkable victory by emerging as the champion in the highly esteemed 'Pagsulat ng Sanaysay' (Essay Writing) contest. This contest was a part of the prestigious' Kakasa Ka Ba?' (Will You Take on the Challenge) Academic Contest, organized by the University of the Philippines, a platform that attracts the best academic talents from across the country. The event took place on May 11, 2024, at the UP Student Union Building.

Ella's exceptional essay on the theme of 'Karapatang Pantao' (Human Rights) earned her the top spot, outshining participants from various esteemed institutions. Second place was awarded to a contestant from Don Bosco Technical Institute Tarlac, while the third place was secured by a student from the Philippine Science High School. The competition, renowned for its high standards, drew participants from some of the best schools across the Philippines.

The 'Kakasa Ka Ba? 2024' is an annual inter-school contest established by the University of the Philippines. It invites top-tier schools nationwide to compete in three main categories: Academic Quiz Bee, Poster Making Contest, and Pagsulat ng Sanaysay. This event, known for its rigorous standards and competitive spirit, aims to challenge and showcase students' academic prowess and creative talents, fostering a spirit of excellence and healthy competition.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Maryella Grace Z. Pusing on this outstanding feat! Additionally, we recognize and appreciate the invaluable assistance, coaching, and support of her academic coach, Mario Follero, whose guidance played a significant role in this remarkable achievement. Congratulation! SFAMSC Taekwondo Kid Wins Silver!

Congratulations to Juan Miguel F. Marcos of Grade 5 Happiness for bagging the First Place in the Taekwondo and Second Place in the Poomsae. The Cainta Municipality Private Schools Association (CAMPRISA) Taekwondo Competition was held last Saturday (October 12) at Faith Christian School in Vista Verde Executive Village Cainta, Rizal. Great job, Uno!

Due to his win, Juan Miguel will represent the whole of Cainta in the next level up, which is the Rizal Private Schools Association (RIPRISA).

We also would like to commend the efforts of our other SFAMSC athletes Bryce Vincent Fernandez and Franco Lorenzo A. Valle, for giving their best performance. Your SFAMSC family is proud of all of you!

SFAMSC Wins 3rd Place in Aaraling Panlipunan RIPRISA Academic Contest 2019

Congratulations again to Ybez Carl Pusing, Ryan Matthew Guevarra, and Fatima Alexa Bandagosa for winning 3rd place in Araling Panlipunan in the Rizal Private School Grade School Academic Contest 2019 - a gathering of the best and brightest students in the Rizal area! Our three delegates were given the honor to represent Cainta because last October 15, they won 1st Place in Araling Panlipunan in CAMPRISA Grade School Academic Contest 2019! Many thanks to our every passionate, ever caring, and ever-loving TeacherMario Follero for coaching our representatives diligently.
