Student Council Elections 2024: Room to Room Campaign

Last September 9, 2024, the student council election campaign began with an exciting room-to-room visit. The two parties, SLAY and APEX, went around to classes from grades 1 to 10 to talk about their plans and ideas. Both parties are working hard to earn your votes and make our school an even better place. The election is coming soon, and it’s up to you to choose the leaders who will shape our student community! SFAMSC’s Joana Claren L. De Jesus Shines with Multiple Medals in Regional and National Swimming Competitions.

Congratulations to SFAMSC grade 10 student Joana Claren L. De Jesus for another fantastic win in swimming! At the REGIONAL ATHLETICS ASSOCIATION MEET (RAAM) 2024, Joana secured a Gold in the 4x50m freestyle relay and a Bronze in the 4x100m freestyle relay. She also excelled at the NAPSPHIL Swimming Competition 2024, winning Silver in the 200m and 100m Breaststroke and a Bronze in the 100m Freestyle. Joana’s consistent success in various local, regional, and nationwide competitions is a testament to her dedication and talent. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments!

SFAMSC Grade 2 Student Wins Silver at Ball Room Dance Competition

Sabine Yoana De Guzman Paguio, a Grade 3 Loyalty student of SFAMSC, wowed everyone at the 2nd Magayon Open Dancesport Competition & PDSFI Ranking Point System. Sabine won a Silver medal in the Juvenile 2C Standard category. Her journey into ballroom dancing began as a search for a summer workshop, making her achievements unexpected and unique. It's rare for a grade 3 student to be so interested in ballroom dancing, showing Sabine's uniqueness and talent.

Sabine also reached the semi-finals in the Solo Juvenile Waltz and participated in Solo Juvenile Tango, Quickstep, Samba, and Chacha. Her hard work and dedication have earned her recognition and admiration. Her success inspires young dancers, proving that with passion and effort, even the youngest can excel in the elegant world of Ballroom Dance. Great job, Sabine! We are proud of you!

SFAMSC Grade 8 Student Wins First Place in National Essay Writing Contest

Maryella Grace Z. Pusing, a Grade 9 student from St. Francis of Assisi Montessori School of Cainta (SFAMSC), has achieved a remarkable victory by emerging as the champion in the highly esteemed 'Pagsulat ng Sanaysay' (Essay Writing) contest. This contest was a part of the prestigious' Kakasa Ka Ba?' (Will You Take on the Challenge) Academic Contest, organized by the University of the Philippines, a platform that attracts the best academic talents from across the country. The event took place on May 11, 2024, at the UP Student Union Building.

Ella's exceptional essay on the theme of 'Karapatang Pantao' (Human Rights) earned her the top spot, outshining participants from various esteemed institutions. Second place was awarded to a contestant from Don Bosco Technical Institute Tarlac, while the third place was secured by a student from the Philippine Science High School. The competition, renowned for its high standards, drew participants from some of the best schools across the Philippines.

The 'Kakasa Ka Ba? 2024' is an annual inter-school contest established by the University of the Philippines. It invites top-tier schools nationwide to compete in three main categories: Academic Quiz Bee, Poster Making Contest, and Pagsulat ng Sanaysay. This event, known for its rigorous standards and competitive spirit, aims to challenge and showcase students' academic prowess and creative talents, fostering a spirit of excellence and healthy competition.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Maryella Grace Z. Pusing on this outstanding feat! Additionally, we recognize and appreciate the invaluable assistance, coaching, and support of her academic coach, Mario Follero, whose guidance played a significant role in this remarkable achievement.
